Dear Parents & Community Members,
Straight Way School has been in successful operation for more than 20 years. Our graduates are now pursuing their dreams as Muslim Leaders around the globe.
Come to our Community Forum this Friday after the Jumuah Prayer. We need your ideas and initiatives. Our school is a trust from Allah (swt) and we would like to preserve it for the youth of the future.
We are now asking for your assistance and support to get us through the current economic difficulties. Our facility with its green spaces, playground, and computer lab, make it one of the premier Islamic educational facilities in Southern California. Our team of teachers are all Muslims from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. Our students are now in college and the work force, they are active in promoting Islam and living their lives as examples of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).
Some fundraising ideas from our alumni:
- Increase Enrollment by Encouraging New Students
- Scholarship Fund
- Zakat funds
We would like to remind you of the following hadith from Prophet Mohammad (pbuh):
“When a man dies, his actions are cut off except for three – an on-going sadaqa and knowledge which brought benefit and a virtuous son who makes supplication for him.” [Muslim]
“Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: ‘Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’” It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim).
