Our Mission
Inspiring Muslim-American leaders since 1991, Straight Way School is an independent school committed to high education in an Islamic environment. Excellent teachers, core subjects, hands-on activities, excellent Arabic and Qur’an programs, computer lab, well-resourced library, Spanish language, and an after school program.

Straight Way School strives to build in each student a positive and strong identity as an American Muslim who is prepared in all aspects of life to succeed in a diverse and ever-changing world. We strive to cultivate in every student an excellent character supported by Quranic principles, enriched with knowledge, and committed to the betterment of family, community, and humanity.
Our Goals
- Creating a strong academic foundation by engaging students in a variety of educational experiences and activities.
- Encouraging creativity, real-world problem solving, critical thinking, effective communication, and a lifelong love for learning.
- Nurturing the development of students’ positive self-concept by discovering, valuing, and strengthening the unique gifts of each individual.
- Guiding students to ALWAYS practice ethical decision-making and to apply Islamic principles in their daily lives through various programs and sinarios.
- Instilling in students to always keep Allah in their minds and hearts, and the universal values of honesty, kindness, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, justice, courage, generosity, appreciation, and commitment and encouraging them to apply these values in their actions daily.
- Enhancing the students’ understanding of the Qur’an through instruction in the Arabic language during the school day and after school programs.
